The first one was good. A big tear jerker. Very well made movie as I'm sure everyone knows by now.
The second one was decent. Not as action packed and the plot was not as surprising but it gave some more depth to the characters we grew to love or hate from the first movie. and...SHAWN YUE IS HOT!
The third one was confusing and actually quite dumb. I feel as if watching the 3 movies in order was like walking down a flight of stairs. It just went downhill. But at least now I can say I've completed the trilogy. Must all great movies feel the need to come in threes?
The Departed was an excellent movie. Not equal to the original Infernal Affairs, but excellent in its own right. Had it not succeeded such a good film, it would have stood out as a classic itself.

I need to read the next two books in this series
and also watch the movies.
